Birthday contest deadline extended to March 3rd.
Hello Contestants!
Thank you for your wonderful and timely contest entries! The contest was supposed to close today, but after several requests from contestants whose cards got caught in mail limbo, I decided to keep it open until Monday, March 3rd to give everyone who tried, a chance to participate. Good luck to the remaining entries.

Thank you so much Marina! I was worried as my package hasn’t had any movement for two days after I mailed it out last week. Looks like it might arrive today but it’s nice to know I have a bit of extra time just in case there are more delays at the post office.

I’m sure many contestants will be happy to hear this. The post can be very unpredictable. (In my case, they said it’d be there in a week… But then it took two!)

I’m worried about my card as I was told it’d be there 10 to 15 days after international departure. I can’t check that but it’s been 19 days already… All I can do now is cross my fingers and hope it is in your hands.
I’ll die if it doesn’t make it!

Happy birthday Marina! It’s very considerate of you to extend the deadline for a few more days: I’m sure my own has arrived already, considering it was sent over a fortnight ago, but unfortunately it’s near impossible to predict arrival times when sending internationally.

Oh that is wonderful. Thank you so much! I mailed mine last week and was told that it *might* arrive today, but possibly not until this weekend. Yay! (It’s the Amaranthine island painting.) I’m anxious to know if it will make it in time. Thank you again. You are such a generous artist to continue to give fans the opportunity to have a piece of your artwork who might otherwise never be able to afford such amazing work. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thankyou Marina this is wonderful news. I’m still worried that my post card wont arrive in time, i thought the last day to submit my card was the 28th because it said ‘submission deadline’. I wish i had sent it in sooner! Happy Birthday!

That is very kind of you to extend the deadline! I hardly ever check anything online, and did no realize there was a contest till last week! I almost did not make a card because I thought it would be pointless (I live in the far southern USA), and I know it can take up to a week minimum for mail to reach Canada. But I thought that I at least had to try. Now I’m glad I did!

Marina your contest is such a generous inspiring event I could not resist participating (not to mention dreaming of one of your dolls …)
My card was mailed Feb 12th , but the tracking number isn’t working since it left Europe , so no way of knowing if it got to you safely , unfortunatly .So I really appreciate your extra days too =)
I guess patience is the best we can do now ,until we can finaly admire everyone’s cards …

I think people that drawed or pained their postcards should win because they worked on them when other people just easily bought and sent the postcards…
