My birthday gift competition entry is entitled "Precious Cargo" because that's exactly what it will be carrying!
My inspiration came from wanting to create something pretty but practical and functional to carry an Enchanted Doll, a few outfits, and accessories
I'm not a professional seamstress so I hope you can forgive a few inaccuracies and uneven stitching as the bag and its contents have been made with love and enthusiasm!
I've used a variety of fabrics for all the items including silk, poly-cotton, satin ribbons, cotton and metallic yarns, poppers and even wire!
The bag has a padded section which keeps the doll safe and protected. Her feet and legs slide into the pocket while the wide ribbon ties securely round her waist. The handly pockets and large zipped section can hold clothing, shoes, and accessories.
The padded section folds in half before being tied in place with ribbons while the hanging section folds twice before being tied.
I didn't want to send an empty bag so I've included two hand-made outfits and a hand-knitted shrug.
