Between The Lines by Minimeow

Materials: Watercolour on watercolour paper

It may seem silly, or even cliche, but I've always loved the idea that a doll can have a soul. When looking at Enchanted Dolls it's easy to daydream and think that maybe when no one is looking they will take a breath and start to move on their own. This painting goes along with that idea. Her hair acts like a veil between physical reality and the reality of the mind, her face like a soul peeking through, and her jointed wrists a reminder that she is still just a doll.

I draw a line everyday when I wak up, a line between reality and my dreams, and then I remember that the line is still only imaginary.
