Nacida para la Realeza (Born for Royalty) by Rogelio Q.

Materials:Spangles, plymeric Clay, Acrylic, Buttons, Strings, Hot glue-gun

This is one of my presents for you, it is a penacho (an Aztec Crown), and that is what I see your dolls as, as if they were from royalty, beings that are meant to be taken care of and protected. I made this specifically to give you a little something of my roots and my culture, I am from Mexico, and even though I am not 100% sure if I am from native ancestry, I still feel that it is a part of me, and I thouhgt this was the best way to show you my appreciation. I hope you will like it because I put a lot of effort in it, and I am happy that you received it.

Note: I used the measures on your website to check for the size of the head, however I could not tell from pictures if their heads were round when viewed from the top. If it does not fit, please let me know at some point so that I won't make the same mistake another time in the future

Birthday cake by Rogelio Q.

Materials: Polymeric Clay, Hot glue-gun, Acrylic paint

Happy Birthday, this is the must have in every party, a cake, I know it looks delicious, just kidding, but anyways, when I read on your blog that it has to be ED inspired I immediately thought of a cake, the thing that no party should miss, and its ED size so your dolls can join in too.

I tried my best, but painting is just not my strongest media, and even though I know there are clay in colours, my pieces never came out clean out of the oven, burned portions are always present, hey and if by any chance you believe it does not look like a cake at all, at least you got a new paperweight that says happy birthday on it, which would always remind you of this day in which you are the centre of attention. I hope this day rocks and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!
