Amphitrite, sea goddess and consort of Poseidon by Greg E.

Loved above all other consorts by Poseidon, Amphitrite is always found closely accompanied by the Kraken in the absence of her lover. A delicate beauty, she sometimes feels like a bird, jealously guarded from the world around her, by a cage of whipping tentacles. Her helm is made from nautilus shells, razor clams, perrywinkles, and conchs, allows her to control the great beast until her lover returns. Her hair almost like sea water, continuously winds around her body like the tentacles of her protector, sometimes briefly taking their form as well, as they writhe endlessly around her. The two together create a magical dichotomy of delicate beauty and raw primal power.
