Eastern European traditional dress, which some may recognise from fairytale books we read as children. Which brings me to my next inspiration- fairytales- specifically Rapunzel, which I have been inspired by lately (mainly due to Disney’s recent movie). Lastly, I drew inspiration from the Mori Girl fashion, which has recently become popular in Japan. Mostly her movement was inspired from their love of outdoors and forests, and natural wildlife. I used a variety of mediums, which include pen and ink, copic markers, pencil crayon, and computer manipulation. The main figure was worked out in the ink and copics, while her green ‘aura’ is pencil crayon. Finally, after photographing it, it has been given more colour in Open Canvas.
