Editing the Enchanted Doll book

8 years, 8 months ago 19

My editor is in the process of polishing up my writing for the book before it goes to print in two weeks. I took a day off molds in order go over the latest revisions she had sent me and spent most of it editing at my alternate (and rather comfortable) working station until my laptop got tired, said: “Adios Amigos!” and promptly crashed. Thank software engineers for auto-save. The deadline approaches…it’s the nature of deadlines.

I love my job.

    Your bedroom is lovely. :)

You might want to put a hardcover book under your laptop when you use it on the bed. I found that mine had a lot of heat problems when I put it on a blanket or cushion. ;)

Good luck with editing! Don’t work yourself too hard!

Don’t work myself too hard….Ha! What a concept.

  3. It true what Eva sais, the lamp top will over heat. As for the book I so can’t wait to have my copy in my hands. Marina thank you again. Well then try to not over work.

I love it that there is big windwow right behind your bed, you can lie down and watch the night sky!!! Hey, that white flowerpot with “lace” – I just saw it yesterday in IKEA, I wanted to get it, cuz it was so pretty))) I see there’s a teddy bear sitting on a shelf – did you make it too or is it a gift? I’ve gone crazy overy teddy bears recently))) Oh, and there’s also a picture(?) of a Japanese lady right behind Skyler….

Take it from a girl with experience, do not put your laptop on fabric, haha. I literally bought a new laptop two weeks ago because of that.

You look quite small and cute on that bed, haha, your shelves are a nice idea, I need some shelves..
