Aaaiii, this is tattoo-, corset-, collar- but mainly wig-porn for me, wooow!

I see now that she was the small doll compared to Gloriana unpainted as someone said, I also saw the tattoo etchings on the thigh and I saw the rings and jewelry in the hands. And she is the one we saw wearing the collar facing the rain covered window, and her face was one of the Vogue dolls and then we saw her wearing the fake furs too.
Well she turned out amazing, I love her!

Have fun at Spectrum, it must be amazing there!

Spectacular! A feast for the eyes! So much detail to take in, I will be going back again and again!

  4. Els says:

That headpiece looks amazing. So many gorgeous gems. It looks wonderful with the neck piece and corset.

Could we see closeups of the tattoos?

she’s beautiful, another lovely work of art. your muse must work 24/7 with you to create these beauties. no coffee breaks ;) have fun at the convention. and weren’t there two small dolls to show? is the other one Phryne? I can’t wait to see her too. but have fun in Kansas, and a safe trip home after.

you Art is truly beautiful, Marina. I’m always inspired and breathtaken with what you come up with.

I’m just sitting here figuring out all the gems in the headpiece, lol. I’ve worked with and collected stones since I was young, so I know pretty much all the ones used in jewelry. is that iolite or sapphire? and I can see the garnets, moonstone, and if the green is emerald, that’s really special, those are hard to find. and a few pearls for good measure. absolutely beautiful. I love all the coin drops too. you Dolls’ accessories are always as beautiful as any jewelry I’ve seen for people to wear, working on such a small scale is really an amazing art in itself.

What an intricate and sultry beauty, soulful and gorgeous!

  7. Yy says:

Everything on her seems to feel new and special, like she’s the first to try it out. The gold dressing rreally matches her, the tatoo, her story, and her face :)

  8. Christine says:

I realy love her mystical face……wow

  9. paulina says:

Bellísima!!! She has such a sad expression, like if the crown and all the jewels she is wearing weight like a ton over her heart and soul, as she were paying for her beauty and her power over the men.

  10. Sonia Anne says:

Pure beauty! Her headpiece, collar and corset are stunning! I love the tattoos!

  11. Anna says:

Marina, I have to say, I have been watching your work almost for seven years now. Every doll you make it’s better than the last one, but I promise you, this one has made me scream of joy in my house. This gothic calligraphy/typography on her leg, the collar, her “crown”… She is so awesome and beautiful it has a kind of halo in her figure that lefts me with no air every time I see her. If one day you came to Barcelona or Spain I will be very happy!

For me this is perfection, I hope you never stop surprising us.

  12. Dark angel says:

Ok, I must say it : I love her ! She is absolutely gorgeous.
Fierce, proud, but with a kind of strange sadness in her beautiful eyes full of soul.
As always, you keep surprise me with your delicate, intricate details and sweet touch & interpretation.

Another beautiful work from you !
Thank you sooo much for the beauty you bring to us.

  13. Sim says:

    She is FAN TAS TIC!
I adore her regard, so full of sadness, dream and chilhood!
    Bravo from my heart! :)

  14. Ginie says:

You did it again ! One more miracly lovely doll …Bravo Marina !

  15. Eliza says:

I hate you, Marina. I wish I could purchase one of your dolls one day, but you keep making more and more elaborate and sumptuous and expensive dolls and sometimes I think you do so to prevent us peasants to own one of your beauties. And then I see Theodora and Gloriana and all of the other magnificent creatures you make and I can just stare in admiration. You are an utterly talented artist.

  16. Christine says:

If I may ask Marina, would it be possible to see Gloriana sitting beside a original ED. So that we can some sort get the feeling of her size…Thank you

  17. Marina says:

There will be pictures, Christine, there will be pictures.

  18. Sharon Harmon says:

There is a nice article in the special edition National Geographic magazine on news stands about the Medieval period this month that includes a write up and mosaic work of Theodore.
