Shoes are cast in Sterling Silver, while flowers are satin, decorated with fresh water perals, Ruby briolettes and micro Swarowsky crystals for sparkle.

  1. Oh aren’t they just divine?

The ribbon-gem addition looks good too, doesn’t seem out of place with the silver at all. I would’ve thought it would clash, but not at all, it really enhances the feeling of the decadence and aesthetics of that era!

  3. Jayne says:

Ooooh, can you make a pair in size 7 for me? I’d look simply gorgeous swanning aroung the kitchen in those!
    They’re simply stunning (as always).

Marina, just in case you don’t know Audrey Kawasaki’s livejournal, she will have a print sale again, see here:

Woah, Annina, thank you so much for the great news!

I’ve been wanting to own Audrey’s work for a couple of years now, but I can’t seem to catch the print sales. I love Yuuwuaku. I’m going to try to buy it. Again. Wish me luck.

I’ve been trying to contact Audrey for quite some time to compliment her and talk to her about a possible collaboration, but she is either ignoring my emails or simply not getting them.

If anyone knows her or knows how to get a hold of her, please, let me know. I would love to speak with her in person. She is a great inspiration to me.

  8. Yup, she just announced the time-limited sale.

marina, this time you’ll be lucky, the print is for sale for one hour only, and anyone who clicks “purchase” in that hour is guaranteed a print – great news!

My only guess for contacting her would be either through one of the galleries she’s dealing with (if the gallery contact is kind enough to pass it on to her)
    or during/after the print-purchasing process.

Ok, for those who are interested in those Rococo slippers. I had just gone through the back stock of my silver and found two pairs of cast slippers. I will have time to modify and add satin and gems to them in the first week of January.
    The price is $330 CND.

Those who inquired-write me an email, please.

    Those slippers look wonderful.

Good luck getting a Audrey print, Marina. I hope that you get one!

  11. Annina says:

yes you’ll be lucky with this print sale as anyone ordering in that hour will get one, fingers crossed for you Marina!

she actually answers select comments on her livejournal sometimes, i guess for however many she has time. you could try commenting there!

agh i would love silver slippers but i’m scared that if i buy some then there will be resin ED’s suddenly and then i’ll have no money for one of them.
any hint about the resin project? (it’s ok if you can’t, hint i mean)
