Lost in Details

I love working on the little details of things. There is a danger in it though, if you spend too much time on the details you could get lost in them and the only way out is by making even smaller details. Once you reach the point where you’re working with a electron microscope on something half an angstrom wide (one ten-millionth of a millimetre), you step back and go “okay, that’s enough for now.”

Here’s a video of just a couple details on the Lost Doll‘s dress and shoes. The Lost Doll will be available in an upcoming auction, stay tuned for more information.

wow. with the way Kay’s hands and arms were raised, its almost like she was crying out, “no more detail, please!”

but its amazing, to see how detailed oriented you are, because it really makes every aspect of what you put into each doll, down to the last detail, so much more appreciated by those of us who love your work. but you really go to the extreme! i’m in awe. Kudos.

I am amazed at the amount of detail this doll has! but it’s what to be expected from the Enchanted Doll brand. I wish you luck in the upcoming auction.

  4. Marina, your little details are remarkable and ever so pretty! I can’t wait for the Auction, so we can see the completed Kay, so very exciting!
