OH my God, I don’t even know what to say! I absolutely love the ideas incorporated into the designs of their head pieces, tattoos, scar-tattoos and the corset! Oh, the corset!!! It’s just… perfect. And I absolutely love the bird’s(?) skull. This doll I am really drawn to. It seems like it’s perhaps the first doll showing signs of Marina’s predilection for the darker areas of art… I mean, they did come to the surface sometimes before as well but this is such a different doll to admire! I am in love again! (Although I will never betray my own ED, because she was my first!) But this doll is something that really appeals to me.

By the way, it’s really interesting how different people are taken by different kinds of beauty embodied in these dolls. To me, the most incredible, promising and enchanted photographs are the second and the third one- the doll with the red hair (what a fantastic name she has!) and the silver corset (any plans on selling that one?:)).

Everyone will love your show, Marina, I’m sure.
    Why can’t I be there!

Wonderful, wonderful and inspiring work, as always.

    Best of luck! xxx

They all look amazing, but that corset and the mendhi are mind-blowing. I’m always staggered by each new piece. I really wish I could make to the show. Hopefully you’ll have one show in the DC or NYC area soon.

    Best of luck
