This is how our week has gone, spend the day in the studio, spend the night sightseeing in New York City. It has been such a blur at times, the overwhelming photography sessions followed by wandering around the overwhelming cityscape of NY. Both aspects have been so exciting and inspiring.

On a completely different subject,my Enchanted lantern arrived today, and I’m totally in love with it!! I sat for a little while admiring the pretty box then opened it,totally enchanted!! I love the feel of it,thank you Marina, you worked your magic AGAIN, thank you also to Chad for the adminy/email side if things,I hope you don’t mind Marina, but I’m going to put the words you used to describe it, a light in the dark,on a small card and leave it in the box. Thank you again x

This second shot is so beautiful, the sense of movement, of drifting. I feel like we’ve been caught in the silken web of your memories. I adore the studio photo, ED magic is taking place every day, how wonderful. It’s just fantastic to know that Enchanted Doll is in the midst of that! At the center, where they belong.

Who is the one handling and posing the dolls, I wonder? I wish it was me, what a job!

It all must seem a little surreal. They say dreams come true in New York. Maybe this moment in time will mark the beginning of a new chapter.

  6. Marina says:

Orangey, I’m mostly the one handling and posing the dolls, since I’m the one who knows them best.

Yes, Merri, it is a little bit surreal. Being in New York has definitely made some of my dreams come true, however, every place and every moment has a potential to be life-changing. We’ll see where this goes. I hope some place exciting.

So, are the concepts, props and composition your conceptualization or a collaboration, or the idea of Vogue?~

  8. Marina it can only go up from here. Do you even realize you are the master in BJD’s. I am happy you share with us all the evolution of ED.

I would like to ask you a question that has nothing to do with New York. Does Barbra Streisand have one of your works of Art? She has an important Doll Collection that she talks about.
