Traveling Collection 2011 in St.Petersburg

This is a group shot of my traveling collection, minus Snow White, Prince and Dunyazada, who didn’t fit in frame (out of aesthetic considerations). Most of these dolls are mine, kept in my own personal collection for traveling shows, however, there are some new, recently finished dolls such as Cixi, Crystal Chandelier, the Wife, Stepmother (formerly Aisha) and an upgraded Swan Princes with a new face and body (didn’t like the old one). A few of those dolls are for sale. Price list and individual photos of the new dolls coming up shortly. Sorry to keep you guessing still, but we’re just so busy right at this moment, tying all the loose ends here, in St.Petersburg. We haven’t had time to see anything yet, due to the show preparations. Our hotel right across from the Hermitage museum, which is awesome, because that’s the first place I want to visit once we’re done work.

Stay tuned.

Oooohhhhhhhhh. Ahhhhhhhhh. So many new dolls and upgraded dolls, incredible to see them all in one place. I love Echo’s headpiece!! Just when we thought she couldn’t be more perfect. And it’s great to see the golden mask again! From your interpretation of the story involving the hanging gardens of Babylon. The chandelier is truly incredible in this light. I love Cinderella’s outfit so much, her dress, neck-piece, and hairpiece. Yeah, what can I say. I am freaking jealous of whoever gets to go to this show! Aisha’s headpiece! Mermaid Song! Surviving! I’m spazzing over all of them, excuse me for a second.

My absolute favorite are…Stepmother (always had a soft spot for Aisha) and Cinderella with her hair down. Did the Snow Maiden get an upgrade as well? Looks gorgeous!

Enjoy the Hermitage and St. Petersburg!

Squeeeeee! So many beautiful dolls at once! My favorites are Aisha, and Cinderella-with-the-silver-collar, the girl-in-the-center-with-the-golden-mask, Artificial Intelligence and Surviving.

I also assume that State Property’s Triptych is 2/3rds done?

Good luck with the show! Now I wish I could have a Russian Vacation!

  21. Cjoy says:

They are all so beautiful! What an accomplishment, as both a master doll artist and master jeweler. I especially love the Swan Princess and the strength she conveys. Absolutely gorgeous!!! This is such a versatile sculpt!

  24. Iki says:

The one who is wearing golden mask is Clytemnestra, isn´t she?, well she looks so cute, I don´t like the new faces of Swan princes(look like Cyan)and Snow maiden(look like a blonde version of dunyazade)., You still own Agnetha!, she is one of my favorites ED.

  25. Iki says:

Upps i made a mistake, Swan princes looks like dunyazade and Snow maiden like Cyan lol.

  29. Cola says:

I think it would be awesome to have a wallpaper sized version of this photo for my desktop… something above 1600px wide. It’s just mesmerizing looking at all the details. D:

  30. giperborea says:

I have to say I like the old Swan Princess face, but I can totally understand Marina getting tired of old faces)) And I like Cinderella with her hair up better))) But hey, if I had her in my hands, I would play with her hair))

  31. giperborea says:

The new Swan Princess doll face looks like a mix between Clara and Gwendolyn.

  32. Fi. says:

Oh My God…they are so spectacular and graceful! I love their clothes! There are only three words to describe them: Absolutely the best! Congratulations and greetings, Marina! :)
