The Gothic Collection is characterized by the dark and atmospheric aesthetic of Baroque portraiture. This “Stages of Grief” doll is the first print in the collection, and it features a rich black ornate “frame”, layered with a heavy impasto of delicately painted brushstrokes, which I spent hours applying by hand.
