Wet-Sanding a Porcelain Doll ASMR

Here’s some Wet-Sanding a Porcelain Doll ASMR for those who get ASMR from this type of sound.

To make my doll’s skin feel smooth like silk, I must sand it once again after the vitrification firing. The surface of vitrified porcelain is rough like fine sandpaper until it’s sanded all over with…err… fine sandpaper. It takes me about 1-3 hours to achieve a silky texture, because fired porcelain is very hard.

It must only be sanded wet, because fine airborne ceramic dust is toxic to the lungs. Inhaling it, can cause a deadly disease called Silicosis. And since I don’t want Silicosis, I always practice work safety.

Some people find the sounds of sanding grating, while others enjoy it, and some get ASMR (Autonomous Meridian Sensory Response) from it. I get ASMR feelings from soft scratching sounds and watching hand and finger movements. What about you?
