Well, here you go then!

I made the bed from Maple and Pine and stained it with a cherry wood stain and varnish. I wasn’t sure I could do it when I started, but I had a feeling it would turn out somehow. It was a very fun project to do.

“OMG, OMG, OMG!!!! I want the bed, I want the doll, I want the lot! The whole scene is breathtaking.
Dear Santa, please see above photos…..pretty please!”
I’m signing below with both hands. Looks like Marina would need to make at least 10 of these dolls and beds, otherwise Santa may have a VERY hard time come Christmas…
I believe Marina can make anything. Jewellery, shoes, dresses, bedlinen, furniture, embroidery, beadwork, lace. Oh, I forgotten – she also makes exquisite dolls ;o)

I wish Santa could all bring us one, but reality is that not even a warehouse full of cookies could pay for this work of Art. It is what it is.
Love the visions your soul see’s. Whimsical work gets to me. -_-

October 6th, 2011 08:22
The bed is just perfection. The work you did on the colorful and ever-changing mattresses and coverlets is fantastic, but the wood work on the bed is even more astonishing!

Brilliant. I love the scale of the doll to the bed. It makes me happy, even if she’s sad. So silly and childlike.
October 6th, 2011 20:58
I like how, even tho she’s been crying, she doesnt really look sad. Guess she got her prince ^_^.
October 7th, 2011 06:00
I would love to see the back of her. I see some pink tulle ruffles or a bow in the back?

My other guess would have been The Red Shoes.
October 9th, 2011 09:42
The doll, the bed and the pictures…everything is AMAZING ! You did a wonderful work !
October 9th, 2011 16:14
Marina,
Could you tell us how you made the mattresses? I especially like the traditional ones in blue and white ticking with welted edges.
October 10th, 2011 00:46
extraodinary as usual (which is kind acontradictig but) the doll is cute and looks so fitting sleepdepraved and the bed is amazing aswell, it must have been a whole lot of work (and fun)to build and create it.
I admire you for your bottomless creativity.

She looks like Marie Antoinette.
Very nice. I would love very much, one of these days to purchase one of your dolls, and I probably will once I’m able to. Please keep up the amazing work.
Best wishes
