I painted some more dolls. Experimenting with different tones and styles of painting. Finding my own style.
We’re in Rome for a few more hours and then we’re heading to the coast with these beauties. I’ll see you there.

Oh wow! I was waiting for these photos. My favorite are the red-haired girl on top left, the 2 white hair girls below her, and the blacked-haired girl. The latter makes me think of the little match seller. They are totally wonderful!
Oh heck I thought I had chosen the one I wanted, but now … I love the full heavy fringe on number 5, all gorgeous though, have a great time Marina and I’m sure you will be over run with fans/friends again
Wow, they’re all so beautiful!! The one with brown hair and bangs truly stands out to me, as well as the first redhead. And the blond who is pushing back her hair. Your painting is getting even better on these dolls, they look amazing~
wOw!!!I love to see the way you vary the painting styles, Marina! I too favor the golden-haired beauty pushing back her hair; that haircolor is just radiant. The styles with bangs are also refreshing to see. I second the freckles, too. Best wishes for your wonderful show in Italy!
WOW! They are divine!
My favorites are:
1.first from second row from the bottom – green-eyed honey-haered girl, and
2. first from third row from the bottom – the redhead girl with freckles ♥
I think it will be truly hard to choose my variant when my time will come!!
Awww!!! So ~Lovely~ How difficult to choose, cause all of them have the Sweetest Faces!! Maybe I like #8 Blonde and #10 Dark Hair :-} But again… They all have your Magical Touch, Marina!! *Thanks* ~Can’t wait~
My favorites are nos. 3, 7, and 1. I always love the freckled girls, but #3 with the white wig is so amazingly elegant. Personally, I feel these three face ups most closely replicate the appearance of porcelain. #11 is a delicate beauty. Marina, will interchangeable eyes and wigs be available when the dolls are ordered via the waiting list? Happy traveling!
I love number 7, the 2nd redhead. She has such a different expression than all the rest. She seems so strong while still being delicate. She confident but has a warm, welcoming face (and to me she looks like she has just a hint of a smile). She is my favorite by far!
There isn’t one I don’t like! But 3,5 & 8 are favourites and 9 has a lovely fresh, open look about her. No.10, the little dark haired girl has the beseeching look that always draws me in and no.11 reminds me of the face on the Cinderella doll tin. But, I think no. 4 may be THE one!
The resin dolls photograph differently from the porcelain ones but present as virtually undistinguishable from the porcelain, both in look and feel, in person. Side by side the look and touch is almost identical. I was amazed and blown away by their quality. You must see them in person to truly appreciate these little gems! The eyes, too, are just stunning! I love the glass eyes!
